Here’s an idea: How about a contact trainer? Those of us without the room (or not wanting to move big stuff to mow around) could still use that to teach the contacts.

Roger is hoping to get to those obstacles later this year, probably in the summer or fall. He is working on his cars, and he has a raised bed garden to build for me.

Have you tried the ideas of using very boards on the ground at first, or securing a board to a ladder obstacle? I did boards on the ground before working up to the teeter and that worked pretty well for my two, so I thought I’d mention it just in case!

Want to see your ideas for A-frame and dog walk. My Af is very leery about getting on the walk portion so looking for new ideas there.

Anything that you guys come up with will be great! I am a dog trainer and love the portability of your stuff. I had made hurdles and a tire jump before I found your site, but I love the ladder and the octagon hoop. I don’t know which I’ll make first! Molly has basic weave poles from a starter kit, but your adjustable ones are on the list as well. Thank you so much for all your info!

I have enjoyed your plans a great deal. My challenge has been a PVC support for the dog walk or teeter. I have built both, but am not happy with the supports. I am looking forward to seeing what you do. Thank you for the time and effort you put into your projects and your website.

I’d love to see an A-frame. My husband built me one from plywood,and it lasted two years. He sent three dogs up it at once and it broke from the weight. He is now incapacitated, so that leaves the building to me….and I’m seventy. Up to the challenge????? I am!
